The Society for Pediatric Radiology Board/Committee/Task Force Member/Representative
Conflict Of Interest Response Form
All Board, Committee or Task force members representing or acting on behalf of the Society for Pediatric Radiology should avoid conflicts of interest and the appearance
of a conflict of interest.
A conflict of interest occurs whenever an individual or a member of his/her immediate family has a direct or indirect interest or relationship, financial or otherwise,
that may conflict or appear to conflict or be inconsistent with the individual’s duties, responsibilities or exercise of independent judgment in any transaction or matter
involving the Society.
A conflict does not necessarily imply that an individual is ineligible to serve on a Society Board, committee or task force. A conflict may, however, limit participation on
specific activities of a committee or task force. Any questions regarding whether a conflict exists should be directed to the chair of the committee or task force for which the individual is a member or Society staff supporting such activity. Actual or potential conflicts of interest must be disclosed in a similar manner. This duty to disclose
conflicts of interest continues during an individual’s membership on any Society Board, Committee or Task force.
The Society for Pediatric Radiology is dedicated to fostering excellence in pediatric health care through imaging and image-guided care.
